Zondag 9 november om 19.30 uur zal weer een Engelstalige Time4God dienst gehouden worden in de Gasthuiskerk (Lange Delft 94, Middelburg).
De voorganger is Jan Arie Platteeuw en de muziek wordt verzorgd door de Band ‘Zilt’.
Na de dienst is koffie en thee, en gelegenheid om na te praten.

On November 9, an English-language Time4God service will be held at the Gasthuiskerk, Lange Delft 94 in Middelburg. Speaker is Jan Arie Platteeuw. The service starts at 19:30 and afterwards there will be coffee and tea and time to meet others.

The theme  is ‘Why’? Young people in particular, but also older people, struggle with the question: what is the meaning of it all? Why do I do what I do, what is the meaning of what I do and what am I actually doing? What is the point of what I am working so hard for and the meaning of the events around me? These questions will be addressed. We will seek answers from a Biblical perspective.

Jan Arie Platteeuw was born in Zeeland. He has been an attorney at law in Middelburg since 1992 and has a civil law practice. He is married and has four children. He is active in the church in Middelburg.

The music comes from the band ‘Zilt’, an enthusiastic  Zeeland worship band. It consists of Klaas van de Ketterij (guitar and vocals), Alitha van den Dries (vocals), Laura Muis (vocals), Marga van de Ketterij (piano), Johan van Tilburg (guitar), Erwin Talens (bass), Ruben Willeboordse (drums) and Jan Arie Platteeuw (violin).
